Hugo did his SAICA articles at Meintjes Vermooten and Partners. He worked as
Financial manager at Airtime Outside Broadcast Services, a division of the SABC, for
8 years. He joined AVBOB as Financial manager and held various senior positions in
the 19 years that he spent with the company. Hugo was a trustee of the AVBOB
Pension fund for many years and part of various committees like the tender- and risk
committees. Hugo has an entrepreneurial history and was also a Wimpy restaurant
owner/ franchisee for 16 years. Hugo is the National Treasurer of the National
Funeral Directors Association for the last few years. He sees his association with
BizzAcc as a new career and foresee that it will continue for some time. Hugo is
married for 28 years and both his children are studying in the B Com field.
